Electrical wiring begins, starting with the kitchen and it's array of receptacles, under-cabinet lighting, and overhead task lighting. We post notes indicating where switches, light fixtures, and outlets should be, and the electriciian begins to assign circuits and wire routes. The service panel will be located in the laundry closet, and the main electrical connection will be to the front corner of the house nearest the pole at the street. At first, it looks like we will have to lose a second-floor window in the MBR, but on Friday, the inspector indicates a routing of the main service line that will allow us to retain the window as planned.
